Midcan Powersports is looking for a motivated and skilled Powersports Technician to join our service team. As a Powersports Technician working at a certified BRP dealership you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on snowmobiles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and other powersports equipment
- Complete scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake service, and tune-ups
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new units
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation of work performed
- Work closely with the Service/Parts Advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Participate in manufacturer training to stay current with new models and technology
Qualifications
- Previous experience with BRP, Can-am, Ski-doo, motorcycles, or automotive technician preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Experience with ATVs, snowmobiles, or similar equipment considered an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver’s license required
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
