We are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm). This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON.
Please note that our facility is not accessible by bus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Tack and weld dock levelers, lift tables or other material handling equipment
- Weld/assemble fabrications accurately and efficiently based on the drawings/instructions provided
- Inspect work in process and upon completion, verifying dimensions for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Operate crane and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean work area as well as work as efficiently as possible
- Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes wearing required PPE (Welding helmet, steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses)
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a fast paced custom steel fabrication setting
- 2+ years of experience with MIG welding is required
- Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure
A weld test will be conducted during the interview process.
