What to expect in the role
REDI Enterprises Society is presently seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor for REDIgo! The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role supervises and coordinates staff performing exterior groundskeeping, lawn care, snow removal, and related maintenance services across contracted sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform seasonal groundskeeping and site maintenance including, but not limited to, lawn care, snow/ice removal, seasonal clean-up and minor construction/repair work (e.g., fence maintenance/installation, painting, minor equipment repairs, and servicing underground sprinkler systems)
- Assist with operational planning, including staffing, route development, scheduling, equipment deployment, materials, and supplies acquisition
- Upholding health & safety by ensuring complete compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, REDI Policies and Procedures, and safe work practices to maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Handling client & business relations by serving as the first point of contact for customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction, while assisting REDIgo! in approaching potential new landscaping clients

Job Requirements
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience in grounds and/or building maintenance preferred (Supervisory experience is considered an asset)
- Experience operating landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, snowblowers, compressors); experience operating small equipment is an asset
- First Aid – Level C/CPR certificate
- Basic computer literacy that meets the requirements of the specific role and agency/service (including digital documentation and scheduling tools)
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License and clear Driver's Abstract
- Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check, or one that is acceptable to the Executive Director
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal format
- Ability to work efficiently in diverse outdoor settings, effectively adapting to changing paces and environmental conditions
