My client is seeking a Power BI Developer (Temporary Part-Time) to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making through innovative business intelligence solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and database management to support organizational goals. As a key contributor, you will develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights across various departments. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will empower stakeholders to make informed decisions quickly and confidently. Duties
Sales Analytics Dashboard
Develop and implement a Sales Master dashboard that includes:
- Customer sales analysis
- Product and product category sales reporting
- Trend analysis by day, week, month, quarter, and year
- Customer profitability and margin analysis
- Interactive filtering and drill-down capabilities
- Export and reporting functionality
Inventory Dashboard
Develop and implement an Inventory dashboard that includes:
- Inventory on-hand reporting
- Inventory valuation reporting
- Inventory movement and usage trends
- Slow-moving and obsolete inventory identification
- Inventory turnover analysis
- Product category summaries and KPIs
General Responsibilities
- Connect and maintain Power BI reports using data from the CSB ERP system
- Create and maintain Power Query transformations and DAX measures
- Validate data accuracy and reconcile dashboard results
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability
- Train users on dashboard functionality
- Document report logic and calculations
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop
- Experience with Power Query and DAX
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users
- Role is onsite in Hamilton, Ontario - no exceptions.
Preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Experience with manufacturing, food manufacturing, distribution, or inventory environments
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with CSB ERP an asset
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
