Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership, with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and control costs effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct interviews for potential staff members and participate in onboarding processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food presentation, menu updates, and special events.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Leadership abilities to supervise teams effectively and motivate staff toward common goals.
- Experience in supervising food industry operations including kitchen management and serving protocols.
- Competence in cash handling, inventory control, and financial oversight.
- Ability to interview candidates and assess team fit for restaurant roles.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
