Bradbosh Landscaping and Snow Removal Inc. has an opening for a Gardener position for the upcoming spring / summer season, this position does have an opportunity to roll into winter maintenance. Under the direction of Supervisors you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including bed maintenance, weeding, pruning, tree wells, hedge trimming, mulch installs, annual and perennial installs and other landscape related activities . We are a COR certified company and believe safety is paramount. This position will be heavy on shrub maintenance: pruning and trimming.

- Gardening tasks such as bed maintenance, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, annual and perennial installs, tree wells, edging.
- Also includes other various Landscape maintenance tasks such as mulch and rock top up, reseeding and laying new sod.
Basic/Required Qualification
- Valid Driver’s License will be given preference and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
- Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance and snow removal
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain simple records and make verbal reports
- Strong adherence to Bradbosh safety policies and protocol
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to take direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
- Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

- Valid Class 5 license
- Ability to drive truck and trailer an asset
- Knowledge of LMN time tracking system considered an asset
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
- Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
- Cold weather, on-call during winter months

- Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling
- Repetitive Motions
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 75 lbs
