The School of Trades & Apprenticeship is currently seeking qualified professionals to teach courses in the Carpentry & Renovation Technician or General Carpenter Apprenticeship programs, starting in early September 2026. We are currently seeking individuals who could teach carpentry, and renovation, theory, and practice.
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus as required. Conestoga offers classes Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., both in-person and online. Part-time Professors typically teach one to two courses. When time allows, Professors are afforded an opportunity to share their availability on a semester basis to determine course scheduling. Courses may be in person only, online only, or hybrid (mix of online and in person content), and are approximately two to six hours per week in the classroom.
