Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bakery Assistant to contribute to the daily operations of our Bakery - Sugar Me Cookie. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about baking, team leadership, and providing exceptional customer service. The Bakery Assistant will ensure high-quality products, efficient workflow, and add to our positive work environment. They will be in frequent communication with the owner, bakers and Operations Manager.

Duties
- Prepare certain baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Fill out weekly inventory sheets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow and timely service.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking special orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Square Point of Sales system - Processing transactions.
- Ensure all product is fresh
- Package product and label so it's ready for sale.
- Take orders, and answer phone.
- Support our Content Creator with displaying goods for advertizing
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or cafe preferred
- Customer Service skills is a must!
- Self-starter (has initiative and pace)
