CHILD AND YOUTH WORKER
1 Full-Time Position
Annual Salary Range: $55,376.73 – 61.871.89
Location: The George Hull Centre - Day Treatment Programs, Toronto
The George Hull Centre is a leading Children’s Mental Health Centre providing a full continuum of services to children from birth to 18 and their families in Etobicoke. The Centre’s Day Treatment Programs are looking for a Child & Youth Worker to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing Day Treatment Services to adolescents and latency-age students with mental health problems. This position will be going between schools serviced by the George Hull Centre (elementary, high school, or a combination of both).
QUALIFICATIONS:
A diploma from a recognized community college in a directly related field, i.e. C.Y.W., or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or equivalent. Able to work on a multi-disciplined team, and demonstrate well developed written, oral and inter-personal communication skills. Experience working with youth and latency-aged students (Grades 6 – 12) is required.
