We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Technician at Wolfe Automotive Group, Edmonton area. This is a Monday to Friday position.
What you'll be doing:
- Assists all customers (retail, internal and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Reviews shop estimates to ensure the ordered parts are correct and all pricing aligns with the estimate.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Maintains inventory as required.
- Notifies the service advisor and the customer when unique ordered parts have been received.
- Notifies the shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
- Pulls orders for the shop, ensuring all parts are tagged with a job number.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
- Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
- Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Participates in all training programs that are made available.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What we're looking for:
- Journey Person Parts Technician or pursuing the designation an asset but not required.
- GM experience an asset
- 3 years’ experience required
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
