Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and experience in kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare and assist with food service, including meal preparation and plating
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Serve guests efficiently at the counter or via POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Provide friendly guest services, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Support barista duties if required, including beverage preparation and serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or guest services is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy kitchen setting
- Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required

Pay: $19.20-$26.49 per hour
