Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling and kitchen operations, with a passion for providing quality service.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve meals to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- Basic kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is advantageous
