We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and physically capable Daycare and Kennel Attendant to join our team caring for dogs in a safe, clean, and structured environment.
This role is best suited for someone who is mature, reliable, follows direction well, and understands that animal care is real, hands-on work. We care for a large number of dogs daily, and team attendance and consistency are critical to animal safety and wellbeing.
Some prior experience is required — on-the-job training will be provided. Experience working with animals is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed, water, exercise, and actively supervise dogs throughout a full shift
Clean and maintain kennels, yards, and facility areas to a high standard
Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Observe dog behavior and respond appropriately to ensure animal welfare
Perform front-end duties including computer-based bookings and client interaction
Assist with general facility and yard maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
Strong reliability — consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory
Ability to work full shifts on your feet in a physically demanding environment
Physically able to lift, bend, walk, clean, and handle dogs throughout the day
Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-paced team
Strong listening skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
Available to work weekends and holidays (required)
Schedule & Expectations:
9-hour shifts
32+ hours per week
Work is performed entirely in person. Drivers license and reliable vehicle preferred.
This role requires the ability to complete scheduled shifts as assigned
