Position Summary
The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for scheduling service work, communicating repair recommendations, coordinating technician workflow, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from check-in to vehicle pickup.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests
- Open and manage repair orders
- Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians
- Communicate repair estimates, timelines, and recommendations
- Maintain regular customer updates throughout the repair process
- Upsell maintenance services and accessories when appropriate
- Ensure completed work meets quality and safety standards
- Process payments and close repair orders
- Maintain accurate service records and warranty documentation
- Support a clean, organized, and customer-friendly service department
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a service advisor, automotive, marine, RV, or power sports environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Basic mechanical understanding of power sports products is an asset
- Experience with dealership management software is considered an advantage
- Valid driver’s license required
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
