CEMWorks is looking for an Application Engineer to join our team to support the development of cutting-edge electromagnetic (EM) simulation software.
We enable innovators to deliver transformational products to their customers, by delivering innovative simulation solutions to solve the most complex design challenges for the next generation IoT, autonomous vehicles, and mmWave/5G/6G technologies.
The Application Engineer will work with a team of computational scientists to test revolutionary and well-established concepts solution of electromagnetics & multiphysics challenges.

Responsibilities
- Drive technical evaluations/benchmarks to success for stakeholders
- Guide customers on how to best utilize our technologies to achieve their design goals and meet project schedules
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Work closely with R&D to enhance the tools and methodologies
- Create and improve design flows using programming methodologies
- Capture best practices and lessons learned from current evaluations/benchmarks and utilize to improve efficiency and success rate in next engagements
- Run test cases to verify problems, create work-arounds, test and deliver fixes.
Must-have Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of design/EDA experience
- 2+ years of EM simulation experience
- Experience with Physical Design, IC Design, or Physical implementation CAD tools
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python
- Strong knowledge in Semiconductor fundamentals
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong drive for continuous learning and expanding professional skill sets
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial experience with physical implementation flow, timing signoff, signal and power integrity signoff, custom mixed signal design and analysis
- Passion for crafting robust and efficient code
- Strong knowledge of Linux
