Direct Report: Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager / General Manager

About the Role
As a Room Attendant, you are the heart of our guest experience. Your work ensures that every guest room and public space reflects the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds, and sanitizing all surfaces according to brand standards.
- Ensure rooms are fully refreshed and ready to welcome guests arriving from the airport or preparing for early departures.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, hallways, and shared spaces.
- Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly to ensure guest and team safety.
- Assist with laundry operations and public cleaning.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and inform leadership when replenishment is needed.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests — a warm smile goes a long way!
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment is an advantage.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Flexible with work hours.
