Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician Mechanic 3106 to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive repair, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. Prior dealership experience and welding skills are a plus. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of maintenance equipment
- Assemble vehicle parts and components accurately according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle inspections, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations for repairs
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Capability to perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or part replacements
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
