Home Concepts is a home automation, home theatre, motorized shades, lighting control, design and installation business with over 20 years serving Calgary and surrounding area in the luxury home market. A small, connected and passionate team with a family atmosphere is looking for someone to join our family in the center of our operations in an Installation Technician role.
Someone with experience in the home audio, video and home automation industry with experience with Elan/Nice control systems would be a bonus and also looking for a career in a role that can expand and grow with the business!
This role is 90% on site work (in high-end custom homes) with training and showroom time to aid with growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount TV's
- Install speakers
- Terminate low voltage wiring
- Organize and deliver products to site
- Assist Lead Technician with installation tasks
- Clean site after install
- Fill out daily reports upon completion of tasks

Job Type
- Probationary leading to full-time with vacation, flex days
Salary
- $55,000 for 3 month probation then increase depending on skill and value added
Schedule
- 8:30-4:30 with 40 hours per week minimum. Flexible based on project timing.
Future Development Responsibilities:
As the role of this position develops and new responsibilities and tasks are added the salary will be reflected based on value to the business. We would like to see this candidate transition into a Senior Technician and grow with the business.
