We are currently looking for a Building Caretaker for a Burnaby site and multiple other locations as needed.
In this role, the caretaker will be responsible for basic handywork, cleaning & maintaining a residential building.
We are looking for friendly and professional individuals.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Looking after the property, cleaning & maintaining the common area
- Meeting trades/vendors & coordinating access to the building
- Control and monitor access to the site
- Coordination of move in/out. Book, lock off, and pad elevator for moves. Follow protocol for moves and deliveries
- Administrative and communication skills, writing emails and answering phone calls
- Respond to residents inquires in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain the safety and security of the building including security camera monitoring
- Enforce building bylaws and follow established protocols for non-compliance
- Control and monitor access to the site
- Conduct routine patrols of site's common areas both interior and exterior
- Keep ongoing records of all incidents in the building
- Report any issues/areas requiring maintenance
- Monitor CCTV (retrieve footage and ensure access control and enterphone systems are functional )
- Perform basic handywork such as drywall repair, paint touch up etc.
QUALICIFACTIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of building caretaker and handywork experience
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Excellent time management
- English skills
- Ability to deal with customers in a positive & respectful manner
- Knowledge of professional cleaning products and tools
Pay: $4,000.00-$4,500.00 per month

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
