Overview:
We are seeking a labourer to join our team. As part of a crew, you will be reporting to a foreman daily who will assign tasks. Jobsites and start times will vary. Job sites and duties are ever changing. A vast and open skillset that can adapt to new challenges. Occasional evening and overnight shifts may be required.
Our team values safety, precision, and teamwork, and we are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our crew.
As a Labourer, you will work closely under the direction of the Foreman to support millwrights and other trades on-site. You must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and keep pace with a fast-moving crew in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of industrial equipment
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow instructions from the Foreman and skilled tradespeople
- Operate hand and power tools as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Excellent communication
- Reliable transportation to attend ever changing job sites
- Ability to work outdoors and in various industrial environments
- Must possess a valid Working at Heights certification
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team
- Prior construction or industrial experience is an asset, but not required
- Must have basic hand tools
- Forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred but not required
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
