Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Construction Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting construction projects through precise data collection, mapping, and site measurement. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing advanced surveying tools and software to ensure project accuracy and efficiency. The Construction Surveyor will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality survey data essential for successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Collect, analyze, and manage spatial data to support construction planning and execution.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, CAD, ArcGIS, and GIS for mapping, drafting, and data visualization tasks.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings that accurately reflect site conditions.
- Assist in setting out construction elements according to design specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data within databases and data management systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret survey results and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction surveying methods and equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, ArcGIS, GIS, and other relevant mapping or data management software.
- Strong understanding of data collection techniques and data management principles.
- Experience working with databases for storing and retrieving survey information.
- Knowledge of construction processes and site layout planning.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to surveying are preferred but not mandatory. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to large-scale construction projects while developing your technical expertise in surveying technology and data management systems.
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
