Job description:
One of our clients, a garment factory, is hiring sewing machine operators to produce down jackets and outerwear.
Lots of work. Stable hours. Earn more with piecework. Immediate start.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Full-time & Part-time available
- Overtime available when busy
Salary details
- $17.60 + piece rate
- Experienced workers can earn more depending on speed and skill
- Bi-weekly pay
Job Duties
- Operate industrial sewing machines:
- Single needle
- Serger / Overlock
- Flatlock
- Sew garments including:
- Down jackets
- Hockey jerseys
- Maintain quality and production targets
Requirements
- Experience in garment factory sewing is REQUIRED
- Able to operate industrial sewing machines independently
- Experience in outerwear/down jackets preferred
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must complete a simple on-site sewing test
