Service Manager – Plumbing & Hydronics

Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day service operations for plumbing and hydronic service work.
- Support, coach, and coordinate technicians to help them deliver high-quality work.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for plumbing, boilers, pumps, controls, and hydronic systems.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and repair recommendations for clients.
- Schedule and coordinate service work to keep jobs moving efficiently and customers informed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, property managers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor job costing, margins, callbacks, and overall department performance.
- Identify opportunities for service agreements, repairs, retrofits, and small projects.
- Help create a positive, safe, and accountable team culture.
Qualifications
- Strong background in plumbing service and hydronic heating systems.
- Experience leading technicians, coordinating service work, or managing service operations.
- Confidence preparing quotations, estimates, repair recommendations, and client proposals.
- Strong communication, leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping jobs, technicians, and customers on track.
- Journeyman Plumber designation is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence preferred.
