Account Executive, Commercial Accounts — 1-800-GOT-JUNK? (Moonshot Brands ltd.)
Location: Kelowna, BC
Compensation: $70K base + $30K variable (OTE $100K), paid quarterly with escalators above target. Benefits included.
Travel: Light - occasional visits to our operational locations to prospect & meet current clients
The Role
Moonshot operates 1-800-GOT-JUNK? across Kelowna, Kamloops, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, and Ottawa (More coming soon). Commercial accounts are one of our fastest-growing channels, and we're hiring someone to own them.
You'll prospect across email, phone, LinkedIn and in-person. Working closely with the local team, you will be presenting estimates, walking customers through jobs, and managing existing accounts. We measure three things: acquisition, retention, and growth.
You'll also own the operational side of the book: onboarding, AR coordination, vendor portal work, and the workflows that make life easier for our admin and invoicing teams.
What You'll Own
- Acquisition. Prospect, work the funnel, present estimates, close.
- Retention & growth. Manage the book. Find expansion. Protect renewals.
- Onboarding. Turn a signed account into a clean, billable, retained customer.
- AR. Partner with our admin team. Own DSO. Step in before collections get ugly.
- Vendor portals. Keep our profiles, certifications, and invoices current and compliant.
- Process & tools. Work directly with leadership on CRM, AI tools, and automation we're rolling out. Try them, push back when they're not working, help us decide what's worth keeping.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in B2B sales or account management with a real closing track record.
- Comfortable on the phone with customers and presenting in person to large accounts. Equally comfortable prospecting by email and LinkedIn.
- Owns a number and an operational scorecard without dropping either.
- Curious about new tools. You don't need a tech background, you need to be open to working with new software and AI as we roll it out.
- Strong writer.
Nice to have: experience selling into property management, facilities, construction, or municipal accounts. Worked with customer-side vendor portals. Built a process that outlasted you. Coached or mentored other reps.

Pay: $90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
