Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced carpenter / Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope. This role requires strong leadership, whole home construction knowledge in all fields, and excellent communication skills to drive project success in a dynamic construction environment.
Duties
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, and material allocation
- Coordinate with internal team, subcontractors, engineers and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.
- Manage sourcing materials efficiently.
- track project milestones and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present information to communicate progress updates and resolve any project-related concerns.
- Oversee project documentation, change orders, and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams within the construction industry.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and building regulations.
