- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of procedures and benefits.
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client questions or concerns.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
