Overview
Cuddles Learning is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Minecraft Education Instructor (Mandarin Speaking) to lead engaging coding and digital literacy classes for children ages 6–12.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to inspire the next generation through technology. Using Minecraft Education Edition, you'll guide students through fun, project-based activities that develop problem-solving, computational thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Lesson plans, teaching materials, and training will be provided, so prior teaching experience with Minecraft Education is not required. We are looking for someone who is energetic, patient, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Minecraft Education classes using Cuddles Learning's curriculum.
- Guide students through coding and problem-solving activities in Minecraft Education Edition.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence.
- Support students with different learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents when needed.
- Prepare the classroom and ensure laptops and equipment are ready before class.
- Participate in instructor training and team meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken).
- Experience working with children in tutoring, teaching, camps, or extracurricular programs is preferred.
- Friendly, patient, energetic, and confident working with young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Interest in STEM, coding, gaming, or educational technology.
- Experience with Minecraft Education Edition is an asset
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Nice to Have
- Experience teaching coding, robotics, digital art, or STEM programs.
- Familiarity with block-based coding (such as MakeCode or Scratch).
- Ontario Teaching Certificate, Early Childhood Education, or education-related studies (an asset, not required).
- Experience leading small group activities for children.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
