We’re looking to hire full-time, experienced CNC Precision Machinist for our specialize, highly technical equipment who have experience with CNC mills and lathes. Earn competitive wages plus shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package!
Job duties
- Program, set up, and operate tool room machinery including state-of-the-art 5 axis mills, EDM Machines, and multi-axis lathes, CNC cutter grinder.
- Design and fabricate dies and tools, working from blueprints, sketches, samples, 3D models.
- Effectively communicate with manufacturing personnel and support staff (Engineering/Quality).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs).
Skills, Experience and Education Required
- General Machinist certification or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience CNC machining and programming employing 2D and 3D tool paths.
- 5+ years’ experience working with 3 and 4 axis CNC machines. Experience with 5 axis CNC machines is an asset.
- Experience using various CAM software (Hypermill, Master CAM, Solid Works, or Esprit).
- Teamwork, positivity, dependability, and communication skills
- Apprentices with less experience are welcome to apply - wages would be adjusted accordingly.
Full-Time Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts (Days: 7am-7pm and Nights: 7pm-7am)
- Shift Schedule: 84 hours per pay period
- +Week 1: MON – TUES – off – off – FRI – SAT – SUN
- +Week 2: off – off – WED – THURS – off – off – off
- 3-day weekend every other weekend
- 185 days off a year PLUS vacation
