Construction Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

SUMMARY
As a Project Manager at Insituform Technologies®, you will lead pipeline rehabilitation projects utilizing our advanced cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology. You will ensure successful project execution by managing all phases from planning to completion, focusing on customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and profitability while coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors. This position is fully supported by Field Engineers/Technicians on the projects, who serve as the primary liaison between onsite operations and the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage assigned projects to meet goals for quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, profitability and safety.
- Conduct site assessments and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from start-up to closeout.
- Coordinate project logistics, construction operations, and subcontractor activity.
- Develop and manage work schedules, resource planning, and project tracking in collaboration with Superintendents and subcontractors.
- Attend pre-construction meetings with clients and ensure key team members and subcontractors are present.
- Ensure permits, submittals, and insurance documentation are in place before work begins.
- Monitor and track daily production, costs, and job progress using project management systems.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly project status and progress reports.
- Identify and manage changes in project scope; prepare and negotiate change orders with clients.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between field teams and office staff to ensure seamless communication.
- Verify and record subcontractor progress and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of progressive project management experience in field-based construction, preferably in municipal infrastructure, water/sewer, or pipeline rehabilitation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management Degree, or Project Management Certificate or a related field required. P.Eng. designation is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and direct crews.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with Primavera P6, InEight, or JD Edwards is a plus.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable presenting project updates and status reports.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Pay: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
