St. Thomas’ premier insurance and financial services broker is seeking a dynamic individual to join their growing team in the role of Administrative Assistant. In this role, we are looking for an energetic team member who has strong teamwork skills, demonstrates client focus and can contribute to an exceptional client experience.
Primary duties:
- Support our broker/advisors with relationship management, including continuing and regular client contact and communications via phone and email
- Client service, including but not limited to assisting in file preparation for client meetings
- Processing investment transactions and account changes
- Maintain knowledge of current compliance and industry updates
- Act as liaison with investment fund companies
- Attend client and team meetings
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- MFDA or LLQP education an asset
- Customer service experience
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and Word
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exemplary phone etiquette
- Self-motivated and resourceful with sound problem solving skills
Prior experience in the insurance and financial services industry would be an asset but not required
Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
