Super Save Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, ability to multi-task, as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Possess a working knowledge of route planning principles, with the ability to design and optimize routes to support efficient driver operations.
- Assign drivers in accordance with operational priorities, route plans, and service schedules.
- Review driver paperwork for accuracy, completeness and compliance with operational requirements.
- Monitor the progress and execution of the work plans and adjust schedules accordingly, to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Accomplish organizations goals by accepting ownership of tasks relating to daily operations.
- Provide feedback on day-to-day operations; immediately report safety, performance and attendance issues or successes.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory, safety protocols and internal standards.
- Track and report inventory levels to support operations.
What you Bring:
- Prior experience with transportation dispatch operations, including driver coordination and schedule management.
- Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills and flexible nature, given an environment of constant change.
- Knowledge of Hours-of-service and working knowledge of applicable provincial regulation with respect to disposing of commercial waste.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Demonstrates strong directional knowledge to efficiently coordinate routes and assignments in major Canadian cities.
