Overview
We're hiring a hands-on Team Lead to manage both our dock construction shop and field installation crews. This is not a desk job. You'll be working alongside the team, coordinating projects, solving problems, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, works independently, and naturally leads others. You'll be trusted to make decisions, keep projects moving forward, and maintain quality from the shop floor to the shoreline.
Responsibilities
- Leading daily operations for both the shop prep team and site installation crew
- Running installation jobs independently from start to finish
- Keeping crew members focused, safe, and working efficiently
- Communicating any site issues or changes back to the owner clearly and quickly
- Helping with light equipment maintenance and dock system assembly
- Being the kind of person the crew looks up to
Requirements
- Experience in dock installation, marine construction, landscaping, or a related skilled trade
- Proven ability to lead a small crew (even informally counts)
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable making judgment calls in the field
- Valid driver's licence — you'll be hauling equipment to lake sites
- Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of Muskoka weather
- Bonus points if you know your way around floating dock systems, pontoons, or floating ramps

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
