Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring timely service
- Adhere to health regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations in a restaurant or food service setting
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
- Experience with food safety certifications is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety practices and the importance of maintaining cleanliness during food service operations
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
