Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard & EWP Labourer to join our team. This role will involve various tasks across our lumber and EWP yard. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling materials and operating equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Load and unload materials such as lumber and EWP building supplies.
· Assist with loading customer pickups and deliveries.
· Assist in moving and staging various building materials for production.
· Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (training provided if necessary).
· Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in construction or work in a lumber yard is an asset.
· Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment.
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
· Good communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Problem solving abilities.
· Attention to detail.
