Job Overview:
- Interact with customers and process parts quotes and orders
- Place orders with suppliers
- Maintain inventory control
- Co-ordinate all aspects of warehouse operations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Order picking and preparation
- Shipping and receiving
- Use of hand and power tools for small repairs in warehouse
- Lifting, carrying, and distributing construction materials and parts (up to 50 lbs.)
- Operation of forklift
Successful candidates will possess:
- Hands-on experience in the construction or technical service industries
- 2 years’ experience working at a parts counter
- 2 years' experience working in a warehouse and tracking inventory
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook in a work environment
- Forklift operator certification and experience
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a current work visa
