Breka Bakery & Cafe is a local family business born in 2006 within the vibrant Vancouver neighborhood of Sunset. Regularly voted among Vancouver’s best bakeries and cafes, it boasts a wide range of high-quality and reasonably priced offerings including coffee, breads, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, and more. And the best part? We're open 24/7, 365 days a year! You can find us at our existing seven locations spread across Fraser St, Bute St, Davie St, W 4th Ave, Denman St, Main St, and W Hastings St. Additionally, our latest addition, SUNRISE on E Hastings St, is joining our family of eight locations.
SHIFTS & HOURS
Full-time 30-40hrs/week
- Minimum 4 shifts required per week
- Must be available to work weekends
- OPEN AVAILABILITY IS PREFERRED!

Shift examples
-Start at 6/7 am for 8 hours
-Start at 2/3 pm for 8 hours
-Start at 5/6 pm for 8 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly and efficient approach
- Prepare delicious coffees and beverages while meeting all quality standards
- Process payments at the cashier
- Restock the display showcase and maintain presentation standards
- Tidy customer seating area and wash dishes
- Take out the garbage, clean washrooms & other general cleaning duties

COMPENSATION
- Starting wage is $19 per hour + Shared tips
- 4 months probationary period, and a performance review every 3 months
- Fully covered extended health benefits are available for Permanent Full-time Employees after completing 300 hours worked
