We have an excellent opportunity for a Architect to join our expanding Spitfire team. We are looking for an individual who brings architectural leadership, design taste, and technical confidence to a fast-moving, team-oriented environment. You will play a key role in bringing projects from the design phase through to construction documentation, with a focus on multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and aesthetics for a variety of projects.
- Develop efficient building layouts, particularly for multi-residential, commercial, or mixed-use spaces.
- Move projects successfully through design, permit, and construction documentation stages.
- Conduct drawing reviews and ensure high-level quality control.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and external consultants.
- Provide architectural leadership and mentorship, helping to review work and elevate the team's overall quality.
Job Requirements
- Canadian Registered Architect.
- Approximately 5+ years of solid architectural experience (open to the right person if the overall fit is strong).
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian National Building Code.
- A collaborative, practical, and approachable personality; we operate with a horizontal company structure and are looking for a team player without a big ego.
- High level of technical and code strength, paired with an excellent eye for design.
- Asset: Strong skills in Revit.
