ACCOUNT MANAGER, TRAILER SALES

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to drive trailer sales across Northern Alberta and the Peace Country region. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to build strong customer relationships, develop new business, and succeed in a dynamic sales environment. Travel within the territory is required, averaging a minimum of one week per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers through purchasing decisions by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Negotiate terms and prepare accurate sales quotations
- Provide consultation on custom solutions and evaluate trade-ins
- Coordinate and ensure units are properly prepared for delivery
- Respond to after-sales inquiries and resolve customer concerns
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM software
- Prepare sales reports and updates for management
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven success and enthusiasm for sales in a results-driven environment
- Experience in agriculture, construction, or related industries, with strong mechanical aptitude
- Background in oilfield, logging, gravel, or waste transportation sectors is an asset
- Working knowledge of the trucking and trailer industry preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer applications
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
