Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Digger Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a Digger to perform maintenance, installation, and repair work of streetlight standards at various sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy machinery and construction equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate digger trucks to access elevated work areas safely and efficiently install streetlight standards
- Perform daily routine inspection on digger trucks
- Work with a team that includes other heavy equipment operators including Hydrovacs
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for self and team members
- Collaborate and communicate with managers and team members to complete assignments on time and within scope
Skills
- Proven experience operating digger trucks
- Strong understanding of construction site safety standards and procedures
- Valid driver’s license Class 3 with air brakes
- Experience working outdoors, on construction sites, and with a team
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adhere to strict safety guidelines
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
