Sunhouse Babysitting Agency is a sister-led agency based in Vancouver, connecting screened, experienced Babysitters with families who care about warmth, reliability, and a genuinely human approach to care.
Who we're hiring
We're expanding our roster of casual, on-call Babysitters available for short-term and one-off bookings with Vancouver families. The majority of the families we work with have young children in the infant and toddler range, so we're particularly looking for caregivers who feel calm, capable, and confident with the under-2 age group.
This is a fully flexible role. Bookings range from a single evening to short recurring runs. You're never obligated to accept a shift, you pick the ones that fit your week.
You're likely a strong fit if you have
- Hands-on experience caring for young children
- A warm, grounded, present way of showing up
- A reputation for being reliable, punctual, and professional
- A current CPR-C certification, or the willingness to get certified
- References from past caregiving roles you can speak to
The pay structure at a glance
- Hourly rate adjusts based on the number of children and the type of booking
- Standard rates begin at $22 per hour and move up from there
- Bookings at hotels or Airbnbs are paid at a higher rate
- Overnight care is paid as a flat-rate booking
- Multi-child bookings receive an added rate adjustment
