Director of Professional Development - Law Firm - #5150
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative professional to join our client's team as Director of Professional Development.
This position is responsible for the ongoing development and management of the firm's associate and student initiatives. Reporting to the Partner responsible for Associates, the Director will oversee the associate program, lead student recruitment activities, and administer the firm's student program. Working closely with both associates and students, the successful candidate will coordinate key initiatives including orientation, mentorship, professional development, wellness programming, and performance evaluations.
The Director will also assist with the planning and approval of lawyer-related events, including associate events, while overseeing the preparation and management of the annual budget for these programs.

- Proven management experience.
- Recruitment experience is preferred.
- Genuine interest in lawyer development and legal recruitment.
- Experience developing and managing budgets.
Qualifications & Experience
- JD or LL.B. preferred, together with experience practicing law.
Work Arrangement
- Full-time is preferred; however, a reduced work schedule will be considered.
