Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and creative part time Food Truck Chef to join our team! If you love cooking delicious food in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy engaging with customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items with high quality and consistency.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Operate and maintain food truck equipment.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Take cash / credit debit and make change
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a chef, line cook, or in a similar role (food truck experience is a plus).
- Passion for cooking and strong knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-space environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).
- Strong grasp of the English language
