Prep Cook (Seasonal Full-Time) – Cocktails & Canapés Catering & Events

Our team is passionate about thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests. We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and preparing every menu with care and attention to detail.
As we head into a busy season, we're looking for a Seasonal Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing ingredients for weddings, private events, and corporate catering
- Assisting with the preparation of hot and cold menu items
- Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality
- Portioning, labeling, and organizing products
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Assisting with event packing and kitchen organization
- Working collaboratively with the culinary team to meet production timelines

Position Details
- Seasonal Full-Time (with potential for extension based on business needs)
- Weekend availability is required
- Early mornings, daytime, and occasional evening shifts
- Based in Penticton, BC
Qualifications
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification (preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from our kitchen in Penticton
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
