Heartland Psychology is a trauma-informed private practice located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. We are located on the third floor of a professional building overlooking the heart of Fort Saskatchewan. We offer monthly consultation groups at our practice to encourage a collaborative and supportive learning environment for our team and promote the highest standard of care.
We are a compassionate and skilled team of psychologists and admin looking to hire a couple's therapist primarily and to also see individual adult clients as well. We have a team of 15 therapists and 7 admin to support our team and clients. We are seeking a couple's therapist to meet the high demand.
Must be able to work at least one evening or Saturday shift per week. A minimum of 15 hours per week is ideal however, we are open to a schedule that works best for our therapists. We offer full caseloads and can be flexible with your needs.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily work with couple's using evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on therapeutic goals using EFT Couple's Therapy or Gottmans Couples Therapy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Stay current with advancements in the field of psychology through ongoing research and professional development
-Adhere to the College of Alberta Psychologists' Standards of Practice and be in good standing with the regulatory body.
Skills:
-Experienced in couple's therapy
- Proficient in medical terminology related to mental health and psychology
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information for treatment planning
- Ability to collect and analyze data to assess client progress and treatment effectiveness
- Excellent client care skills, including active listening and empathy
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting
- Familiarity with working in a private practice or healthcare environment

Pay: $141.00-$164.00 per hour
