Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our warehouse team.
This is a working supervisor position. You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor leading the team, monitoring production, solving daily operational issues, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse and production activities.
- Assign work and monitor employee performance throughout the shift.
- Lead by example and assist the production team when needed.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the sorting process.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow and enforce all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC requirements.
- Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
- Complete daily production and attendance reports.
- Work closely with management to improve productivity and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or production environment.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification or experience is considered an asset.
