Overview
Fortius Physiotherapy is currently in a phase of rapid growth, and enjoys a prime location between two longstanding family medicine offices in the heart of Lonsdale. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Naturopath to join our holistic health practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with a focus on natural healing methods and preventative health strategies. As a Naturopath, you will work closely with patients to assess their health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and promote overall wellness through natural therapies.Prior experience is highly desirable. Preference may be given to candidates residing on the North Shore, as proximity to the clinic supports long-term commitment. This position is offered as a percentage-based subcontractor role, with the rate determined based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and lifestyle evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing naturopathic principles and therapies.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and other natural remedies.
- Educate patients about the benefits of naturopathic medicine and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in naturopathic medicine.
Requirements
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution with at least 2 years of Experience.
- Valid license to practice as a Naturopath in BC.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus, with the ability to work effectively with children and families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
