Summary
Avanti Landscaping is looking for a reliable Driver / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Transport landscaping materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on excavators, skid steers (bobcats), trucks, trailers, and small equipment
- Diagnose and report mechanical issues
- Maintain equipment service records and help keep the fleet in good working condition
- Assist with yard organization and logistics when required
Requirements
- Valid G, DZ, or AZ driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Experience towing trailers and transporting equipment
- Experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including excavators and skid steers
- Basic welding, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical troubleshooting experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Experience:
- Machine Operation: 2 years (required)
