Reports To – Executive Housekeeper
Position Summary: Crowne Plaza Moncton Downtown is looking for a Room Attendant that is responsible for ensuring the highest level of guest service and standards are achieved. The room attendant ensures the highest quality of cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, and all guests are wowed by our inspired location and authentic moments they experience with our team.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Promptly and efficiently carry out all guest requests.
· Performs daily cleaning of assigned guest rooms and corridors to hotel standards.
· Ensure adequate linen and guest supplies are stocked on cart, the storage area is cleaned daily, and that all equipment used is in good working conditions before commencing daily duties.
· Ensure staff adheres to departmental and company policies including Health & Safety and WHIMIS.
· Ensures the proper handling, storage and controls of cleaning products and the security of all housekeeping equipment and supplies.
· Provide exceptional customer service.
· Effectively communicate with co-workers as needed, to ensure that guest expectations are exceeded.
· Follows shift checklists to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
· Provide information on hotel facilities and services.
· Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies.
· Other related duties as assigned by the housekeeping leadership team.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highly organized and time efficient.
· Related experience with housekeeping operations an asset.
· Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
· Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Bilingualism is an asset, English is required
- Ability to multitask
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere
- Post-secondary education an asset, but not mandatory
- Tourism & Hospitality experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.25 per hour
