Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and customer service skills, with experience managing office procedures, handling correspondence, and supporting staff. This role requires proficiency in various software tools, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multitask efficiently to ensure smooth office functioning.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks to maintain accurate records and financial data
- Handle filing systems, document proofreading, and general administrative support such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Perform clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and maintaining organized office files
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and basic financial record keeping using QuickBooks or similar software
- Support team members with administrative needs such as preparing reports, managing correspondence, and coordinating meetings
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Strong computer skills with experience in data entry, filing, and document management
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Clerical experience in an office setting, preferably within a medical or dental office environment including dental receptionist or dental office experience
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and support front desk operations
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and managing administrative tasks accurately
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
