Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician with a Gas Fitters II license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a minimum of 2 years experience, as well as the ability to troubleshoot systems efficiently. The HVAC Technician will ensure optimal system performance and safety standards are met, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients.
Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before failure occurs
- Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, and electrical wiring
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed
- Follow safety protocols and building codes during all installation and repair activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair with a solid understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of appliance repair is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction or maintenance environments is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC or related fields are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or elevated areas as needed
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
